Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the wool come from?

All our garments are crafted from premium materials, including British wool, fine lambswool from Australia, mohair from South Africa, and the finest cashmere from Nepal.

Do you offer sample yarns?

While everything we create is custom-designed to meet our customers' needs, we keep a selection of yarn samples in our sample room for design inspiration. When designing fabrics, we work closely with customers to agree on acceptable samples and sourcing options.

Can you knit any type of sweaters and accessories?

We specialize in industrial seamless knitwear manufacturing. Using advanced machinery, we produce a variety of 5-gauge knitted garments, ranging from thick and soft textures for garments to dense and durable fabrics for other uses. Please note, we are not cut-and-sew knitters.

Do you work with retailers or designer brands?

Yes, we work with both. Our services cater to the unique needs of retailers and designer brands, offering flexibility and customization to suit their requirements.

Do you have minimum order quantities?

Yes, our minimum order quantity is typically 50 units per style over the course of a season. For example, a 10-piece collection would require total orders of at least 500 units, which can be split across different sizes, colours, and delivery schedules. However, all orders must be placed at the same time.

Do you charge sample development fees?

Yes, we charge a standard development fee per style, agreed upon before development begins. This fee covers:

  • Prototype development

  • One round of minor alterations

  • Production grading

  • Sample yarn (subject to agreement)

Each prototype is charged at the calculated production cost. Additional costs may apply for excessive alterations or substantial changes to body type, shape, or stitch structure, which would require a new development fee.

Who do you manufacture for?

We collaborate with a select group of top fashion designers, maintaining long-term relationships built over a decade. Client confidentiality is paramount, so names are never disclosed.

What is your production capacity?

Our production capacity is approximately 10,000 garments per year. We typically work with clients requiring 200 to 2,500 units annually.
